Natural Eco-Friendly Outdoor Weddings

We offer three wedding packages so you can choose which one is perfect for your style and budget.

Eco Friendly Gold Standard Wedding

An environmentally responsible wedding is a positive reflection of you. Make your special day an eco-friendly affair in a beautiful outdoor natural setting, overlooking the Ohio River. We can accommodate up to 250 guests for an outdoor ceremony under a decorated pergola (arbor) with an antique bell to ring after your vows are exchanged.

  • Music for outdoor wedding service
  • Flowers - tables will have potted plants (in season) that guests take home
  • Alter  will be decorated with silk flowers that are recycled
  • Tables - banquet seat 8
  • Chairs - white chairs
  • Linens - white table linens
  • DJ
  • Catered - variety of buffet choices
  • Cake  - two layer cake for photos and 1st anniversary, sheet cake for dessert
  • Soft Drinks - variety of canned or bottled drinks to be recycled
  • Coffee - in mugs to be washed
  • Photographer  will take digital photographs and you get a CD
  • Dance floor on site with potted flowers

Price: $12,000 for up to 250 guests

Eco Friendly Silver Standard Wedding (on a tight budget)

reception-area.jpg You don't have to pay thousands of dollars to create a beautiful and eco-friendly wedding. Here at Jane's Saddlebag we can arrange for your service to be held at Big Bone Chapel. Afterwards guests gather at the covered picnic shelter where you will cut the cake, spend two hours with your guests, and enjoy the music provided. 

We will provide:

  • Reverend
  • Fresh flowers (in season) for the bride
  • Cake - two layer to photograph and a sheet cake to serve guests
  • Coffee, water
  • Two hours of music - your choice of either single musician or DJ

Price: $1000 for up to 20 guests
$5 per person above 20 guests

This is the perfect solution for renewing vows, second weddings, or for the couple who wants to keep their day intimate, environmentally responsible, and affordable - yet beautiful and memorable. You get all this for an amazingly low price.

Your service will take place at Big Bone Chapel or anywhere on the manicured grounds of Jane's Saddlebag. Also included is an 8 x 10 photo of you, the newly married couple.

We will provide:

  • Reverend
  • 8 x 10 color photo

Jane's Saddlebag in Big Bone Lick, KY is a heritage tourism destination with an educational farm located on historic Big Bone Creek, a backwater of the Ohio River in Boone County, Kentucky. Our facility provides hands-on experiences for children and adults with over 50 acres of hiking, creek walking, exploring, and observing wild animals. Jane's also has a large variety of farm animals to observe, cuddle, groom, feed and hold. We stress respect for animals and give emphasis to a human connection with the natural world.
